NOT SO STOOPID #1 — You Don’t Need More Followers, You Need a Crew
Everyone talks about “building an audience.”
Not enough people talk about building a crew.
If you’ve got even 2–4 people who believe in what you’re doing, you’re already ahead of most creators.
The problem is…
most people don’t know what to do with that.
Myself included!
So we say things like:
“Hey, can you help me out?”
And then…
you guessed it: nothing really happens.
Not because people don’t care
—but because there’s no direction.
Here’s the shift:
Stop asking for help.
Start defining the game.
People don’t plug into vague energy.
They plug into clear roles.
Instead of “help me,”
try this:
“You’re the clip hunter.”
“You’re the idea reactor.”
“You’re the signal amplifier.”
“You’re the experimenter.”
Now something changes.
They’re not just helping anymore—
they’re part of something.
And here’s the secret most people miss:
You don’t need to become a boss.
You just need to create a system simple enough that everyone knows how to contribute.
Ours is this:
Anything that feels real, funny, or meaningful gets captured, expanded, or shared.
That’s it.
No overthinking. No friction.
Then give the crew something to aim at:
One clip a week.
One post a day.
One idea pushed further than before.
People rally around targets—not just vibes.
If you’re building something right now, this is your reminder:
You don’t need more followers.
You need direction for the people already in your corner.
Start there.
Build with them.
See what happens.
